Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our busy ophthalmology practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, is detail-oriented, and works well as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
Rooming and preparing patients for ophthalmic examinations
Obtaining medical history, medications, and chief complaints
Performing visual acuity and other basic ophthalmic testing
Assisting physicians with patient examinations and procedures
Documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
Assisting with patient calls, scheduling, and other office duties as needed
Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
