Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee - Litholink

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee in Itasca, Illinois to perform laboratory testing procedures, operate instrumentation, and ensure specimen quality. Full training provided for new graduates; shift work required including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities Assess specimen acceptability and process samples according to established protocols Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures following departmental standard operating procedures Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function Conduct preventative maintenance, quality control, and reagent preparation procedures Report accurate test results and maintain safe work environment with appropriate personal protective equipment Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science ASCP or AMT certification preferred Three months or more clinical laboratory testing experience preferred Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems Ability to pass standardized color blindness test Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Compensation:

$23.80 per hour plus shift differential
