Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document student progress
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and other service providers
• Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment is a plus
• Effective time management and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop appropriate therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in a school-based environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
• Document and track progress toward goals, ensuring compliance with district and federal requirements
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies and techniques for supporting students’ needs
• Provide insight and training on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
