Title Dental Hygienist - Part Time Job Description Provide high-quality, comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing. Conduct thorough patient assessments, oral cancer screenings, and review oral health history. Take and interpret diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays). Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and personalized treatment plans with a caring and personable demeanor. Administer local anesthesia as permitted by state licensure. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the practice's system. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to strict infection control protocols. Collaborate effectively with dentists and other dental professionals, working well in a team environment to ensure seamless patient care. Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit, fostering a positive and welcoming experience. Stay current with the latest developments in dental hygiene through continuing education. Salary Range part-time $40 - $55 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Preferences Eaglesoft Experienced Dental Hygienist (2+ years) Local Anesthesia Certification Open Dental Preference to live within 20 minute drive into Little SIlver, NJ. Local Anesthesia Certification in New Jersey. Previous experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist (entry-level candidates with strong potential are encouraged to apply).
