Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days: Thursday to Sunday, 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM, with 4 days of call per month.

The CT Technologist provides professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic C-T examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician while adhering to established policies and procedures. The technologist is responsible for delivering C-T care to patients for diagnostic quality radiographs for interpretation by the radiologist.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic, and C-arm procedures.
• Conduct routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including but not limited to CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Utilize knowledge of processing CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, and studies with or without contrast media.
• Ensure compliance with departmental protocols under the direction of a Radiologist.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certifications in CT required.
• Experience in both CT and X-ray procedures is essential.
• State licensure as a general radiographer.
