As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Field Operations in San Francisco, CA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.95 / Hour

DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, riders, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and security-related equipment; report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and maintain professional communication with site contacts, law enforcement, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
