Addison Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer to hire an HR Generalist for their South Carolina facility. This is a newly created, direct hire role offering the opportunity to own and develop HR operations on-site, while collaborating with a supportive corporate HR team.

The HR Generalist will serve as the on-site human resources partner for a mid-sized manufacturing facility. This role supports all aspects of the employee lifecycle and plays a key part in cultivating a positive work environment, ensuring compliance, and maintaining HR systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR contact for a 150+ employee production site
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance matters
• Partner with leadership on performance discussions, coaching, and workforce planning
• Administer HR policies and ensure consistency across the site
• Maintain accurate records in HRIS (UKG or similar platform)
• Help foster a positive, engaging, and safe workplace culture

Qualifications

• 35 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or plant-based setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels
• Comfortable working independently in a hands-on environment
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
• SHRM-CP/PHR certification and/or bilingual skills a plus

Additional Details

• Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
• Typical hours: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (with occasional flexibility)
• Reports to a remote HR Manager
• Background check and drug screening required as part of onboarding
