Senior Project Manager - ADMS

Overview Will consider candidates near other TRC offices ( The Senior Project Manager will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice in the Operational Technology and Real‑Time Systems domain. The successful candidate should have in‑depth knowledge of any of the major EMS, SCADA, ADMS, OMS systems including: OSII, GE, ABB, Schneider, and Siemens. You will have responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire project lifecycle, including assembling and managing delivery teams, assigning responsibilities, identifying resources, setting up and managing vendor and subcontractor engagements, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion. In addition, you must demonstrate judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills. Working closely with the end customer, vendors, and project personnel, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and delivery of an Advanced Distribution Management System within our client’s territory. Responsibilities Deliver project(s) to completion. Own scope, cost, schedule, and risks for the project and manage multiple tracks, business and technical resources, consultants, and vendors. Develop contractual Statement of Works with client and suppliers articulating precise assumptions and limits of responsibilities. All project team members report to you; you will assign work, monitor, and measure outputs, and address resource gaps or shortfalls. Represent TRC, ensuring client and TRC interests are aligned for project success. Strategize and implement methodologies to increase project margins. Manage vendors, ensuring contractual, operational, and relationship aspects are aligned for success. Act as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; lead the team to achieve all objectives on time and on budget. Develop workflow plans from initial request through systems analysis, technical design, implementation, procurement, testing, turnover to production, and client migration. Plan, prepare, and track project schedules and budgets to assure controlled completion of each step. Prepare and maintain a risk assessment and mitigation action plan. Maintain resource forecasts to assure schedule compliance and desired results. Update company and external stakeholders on project progress, changes from original plans, and emerging risks. Lead core team meetings and present progress at Steering Committee level with senior executives from TRC or the client. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience in the utility domain. Previous experience leading large‑scale, multifaceted enterprise‑wide Operational Technologies Projects in an electric or gas utility environment. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. Fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of project management Body of Knowledge. Excellent organizational, decision‑making, and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills ranging from addressing C‑Level to multiple technical teams. Ability to self‑direct and work independently as well as in a team. Excellent team‑building and motivational skills. Excellent budgeting and financial skills. Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Strong judgement, leadership, organization, and communication skills. Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed to client locations. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience implementing large SCADA, EMS, or ADMS programs, preferably on the technology vendor side. PMP Certification. Compensation In accordance with local law, the salary range for this position is USD $155,001.60 – $222,955.20 per year, varying based on experience, education, skill level, geographic location, and other compensable factors. Other compensation may include participation in the Company’s annual discretionary bonus program, contingent on company, business segment, and individual performance against key performance indicators that vary by year and employee.
