Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment, and may be required to float to various units as needed. Key Responsibilities Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit. Coordinate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting all relevant information. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Educate patients and families on health condition management and post-discharge planning. Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and departmental initiatives. Shift Information Rotating shifts available: 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm. Must work at least every other holiday. Qualifications Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty. Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license required. Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA or American Red Cross. Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
