1st Shift Welder

Job Overview KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening in our Weld/Fabrication department for a Welder/Fabrication Technician. KI is employee owned and is growing. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks ranging from operation of robotic welders, benders, and saws, to brazing operations and spot welds. Technicians are responsible for loading material into machines to join components and for inspecting completed metal workpieces to ensure consistent quality in a fast‑paced environment. Shift & Hours This is a first shift position. The hours are primarily 5 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday – Friday, with overtime and weekend work required during peak production (summer months). Candidates will undergo a hands‑on weld evaluation. They must be able to lift 50 lbs, read shop orders, and process open orders. Candidates must be able to work on their feet for long periods, maintain a continuous pace, pay close attention to quality and detail, and perform with minimal supervision.
