About the Role: The Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position involves monitoring compliance activities, conducting audits, and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance standards. The Compliance Coordinator will work closely with various departments to educate and inform staff about compliance issues and best practices. Additionally, this role requires the development and maintenance of compliance documentation and reporting systems. Ultimately, the Compliance Coordinator is responsible for fostering a culture of compliance within the organization, thereby minimizing risks and enhancing operational integrity. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related area. Strong understanding of compliance regulations and standards relevant to the industry. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP). Experience with compliance management software and tools. Knowledge of risk management principles and practices. Responsibilities: Monitor and assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance-related topics. Prepare and maintain compliance documentation, including reports, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance initiatives are effectively implemented and maintained. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills: The required skills for this position include strong analytical abilities, which are essential for assessing compliance risks and conducting audits. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively train staff and convey complex compliance information in an understandable manner. Attention to detail is critical in maintaining accurate compliance documentation and identifying potential issues. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with compliance management software, enhance the efficiency of monitoring and reporting compliance activities. Overall, a combination of these skills enables the Compliance Coordinator to effectively support the organization in achieving its compliance objectives.
