Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will perform clinical assessments, administer treatments, and support patient recovery, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs through comprehensive triage and clinical evaluation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, including cardiac monitoring, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and medical records.
• Float to other departments as needed, supporting hospital operations without exceeding scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid MO or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and SAFE certifications; NRP and TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour evening shifts, including every other weekend and some holidays.
• Capable of floating to different departments while maintaining competency and patient safety.
