Merchandise Coordinator

The Merchandise Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the Red Rocks Church Online Store, campus lobby stores, and all merchandise sourcing for ministries across the church. This includes both soft goods and hard goods, ensuring merchandise is thoughtfully sourced, ordered, delivered, and distributed with excellence. This role owns the operational execution and financial stewardship of merchandise projects from start to finish — including sourcing, ordering, project management,inventory oversight, volunteer training, ministry resourcing, and profit and loss for RRC Store merchandise. The Merchandise Coordinator collaborates closely with Creative, Next Steps, Finance, and ministry leaders and plays a key role in stewarding both the Red Rocks brand resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchandise Sourcing & Project Management Source and procure all soft goods and hard goods for ministries across Red Rocks Church Partner with ministries to understand merchandise needs, timelines, and use cases Project-manage merchandise initiatives from concept through delivery Manage ordering, approvals, production timelines, and fulfillment Ensure merchandise is delivered accurately and on time to ministries and campuses Ensure all merchandise aligns with quality expectations, and budget considerations Store & Supply Chain Operations Manage product ordering for the online store and campus lobby stores, Including quantities, timelines, delivery, and distribution Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage reorders as needed Oversee quality control of all incoming product Coordinate delivery of merchandise Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers Online Store, Fulfillment & P&L Ownership Oversee the Red Rocks Church Online Store Manage Square and Shopify systems, including product setup and inventory tracking Oversee and communicate with the online fulfillment vendor Ensure online orders are processed, fulfilled, and delivered accurately and on time Own profit and loss (P&L) for RRC Store merchandise, including: Monitoring revenue, cost of goods, margins, and expenses Supporting pricing and markup decisions Partnering with Finance on reporting, coding, and reconciliation Identifying opportunities to improve margin and operational efficiency Volunteer Training & Support Train and onboard new merchandise volunteers across campuses Develop and communicate clear processes, expectations, and best practices for merch volunteers Serve as a consistent point of contact for Next Steps Pastors, providing support and guidance Communicate upcoming merchandise initiatives, launches, and event needs to merch volunteers Ministry Event Resourcing Partner with ministries to support all church events that require merchandise Resource ministries with appropriate merchandise solutions based on event goals, audience, and budget Coordinate timelines, ordering, delivery, and distribution of merchandise for ministry events Ensure ministries are equipped with the information and tools needed to execute merchandise well at events Creative Collaboration Collaborate with the Creative Team to develop new merchandise Make thoughtful suggestions for future product drops Coordinate photoshoot needs and request photo support from the Creative Team as needed Financial Stewardship & Communication Steward budgets, pricing, profit margins, and markups across all merchandise initiatives Partner closely with Finance to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment Communicate regularly with Next Steps Pastors, Creative, and ministry leaders

When combined with base salary and employer-funded benefits, the total compensation package is approximately: $65,850 - $89,655 annually, depending on selected coverage and participation levels.
