Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, collaborative Internet Sales and BDC Director to unite our digital lead management and showroom sales teams into a seamless, high-performing revenue engine. Unlike traditional siloed structures, our dealership utilizes a highly integrated BDC-to-Floor Partnership Model . You will lead a dedicated Business Development Center focused entirely on rapid response and booking high-quality showroom appointments. Crucially, you will act as a strategic partner to our floor sales team—working alongside them to elevate their digital follow-up, optimize CRM engagement, and master personalized video outreach. Core Responsibilities

1. BDC Leadership & Strategy (60%)

• Drive Appointments: Oversee the daily operations of the BDC, ensuring the team hits collective targets for Lead-to-Appointment Set and Show rates.
• Process Design: Create user-friendly CRM workflows, multi-channel cadences (phone, text, email), and phone scripts designed to build value and secure appointments.
• Coaching & Development: Conduct daily coaching sessions with BDC agents, reviewing communications to help them overcome objections and maximize contact rates.
• Vendor & Lead Management: Monitor third-party lead providers, website chat tools, and digital marketing alignment to optimize lead quality for the entire store.

2. Sales Floor Collaboration & Digital Enablement (40%)

• Partner on Lead Accountability: Work closely with the floor sales team to ensure digital leads are handled with premium care. Conduct daily CRM reviews to help sales reps stay on track with their follow-up steps.
• Elevate Video Outreach: Champion the dealership’s video walkaround strategy. Coach floor reps on creating engaging, high-quality personalized videos that build trust with digital prospects.
• Optimize Lead Allocation: Manage the dealership’s lead distribution process fairly. Work proactively with salespeople who need extra support to get their CRM tasks or video responses back on track, ensuring leads go to the reps best positioned to win.
• Support the Showroom Handoff: Partner with Sales Managers to track "un-sold" internet traffic, helping the floor team execute seamless, effective "Be-Back" campaigns.

Requirements:

  Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of proven success as a BDC Manager, Internet Sales Director, or Digital Operations Manager in an automotive dealership.
• CRM Expertise: Proficient with major automotive CRMs and vendor technologies, with the ability to leverage reporting to help teams improve.
• Team-Oriented Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across departments, motivate salespeople, and build a unified digital culture.
• Metrics-Driven: Deep understanding of dealership KPIs (Set Rates, Show Rates, Closing Ratios) and how to coach teams to hit them.
