Candidates can learn more about BPG’s team, products, and services at Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Home Inspector role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Home Inspector conducts detailed property inspections, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and documents findings in clear, comprehensive reports. Daily responsibilities include scheduling inspections, performing thorough on-site evaluations, identifying potential safety or maintenance issues, and explaining results to clients in a professional, approachable manner. The role involves close collaboration with real estate professionals, homebuyers, and internal support staff to ensure timely, accurate service. The Home Inspector is expected to adhere to industry standards, company protocols, and local regulations while consistently delivering high-quality customer service. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Property Inspections and Inspection practices, including assessing structural, mechanical, and safety conditions. Knowledge of Property Management concepts and the ability to understand how inspection findings impact ongoing property upkeep and value. Experience or aptitude in New Business Development, such as building relationships with real estate professionals and generating referral-based opportunities. Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to explain technical issues in everyday language. Relevant state home inspector license or certification (or eligibility to obtain), and familiarity with applicable inspection standards and regulations. Attention to detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to produce accurate, well-organized written reports. Comfort working on-site in various residential environments, with the physical ability to access attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and other areas as required. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
