Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking Behavioral Health Therapist Crisis Services for Evening and Weekends in the Fargo, ND. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. Be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides individuals with an opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community. This is a crisis position and therefore qualifies for additional pay due to the nature of services provided. $7,831 - $10,442 In this position, you will conduct crisis stabilization or therapeutic intervention, provide supportive therapy to mitigate crisis situations, develop safety plans for individuals at risk, and assist individuals in obtaining appropriate services, either within or outside agency. You will also coordinate social detox/crisis residential placements and admissions to the North Dakota State Hospital. This position also provides support to the other regions as needed via telehealth platforms. This position will provide rotational coverage for nights, weekends and holidays when the Behavioral Health Clinic is closed. You will thrive in this position, if you are committed to a least restrictive and person-centered philosophy. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable providing services in homes and communities, as most services are provided in those locations. Travel is a norm with this position. Location This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.

Minimum Qualifications

You are required to have a master's degrees in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or any other Master's degree approved by a North Dakota Board, and ND licensure as a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor); or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) OR a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners. We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor or a Licensed Addiction Counselor at a reduced rate. Human Relations Counselors require a master's degree in social work and ND licensure as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners; OR a master's degree in counseling and ND licensure as a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) by the ND Board of Counselor Examiners. OR a master's degree in counseling and LAPC licensure OR a master's degree in counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy – LAMFT licensure (if applicant is far along with the process to obtain their LPCC/LMFT within two years from the date of hire) Licensed Addiction Counselor position, you are required to have a bachelor's degree in Addiction Counseling, Addiction Studies, Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, AND have current licensure as an Addiction Counselor (LAC) by the North Dakota Board of Addiction Counseling Examiners. This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
