Job Overview
National Graphics, a leading provider of printed materials in Southern California, is currently seeking an energetic and resourceful estimating professional to join our team. This is a full-time hourly position located in Oxnard, CA. Our estimators are responsible for estimating costs of our commercial printing, folding carton and direct mail projects.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Three+ years of commercial printing estimating experience
- Direct Mail experience
- Folding carton packaging experience preferred but would consider someone out of a high-end sheet fed plant who can learn packaging.
- Special projects and rigid/turned-edge packaging knowledge a plus.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of print and bindery processes and terminology
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
- Work cooperatively in a team environment as well as independently
- Logical and analytical problem solving skills
- Work well under pressure in a face paced environment
- Be able to think out of the box and seek out new solutions
