As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Check Driver in Freeport TX this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Verify identification credentials and authorization for personnel vehicles deliveries and contractors entering or exiting the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points visitor management systems alarms and other security-related equipment; document activity and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points perimeter areas and surrounding business locations to help deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
