Overview
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Non-Certified Substitute Teaching High school diploma or GED equivalent and completion of Substitute Effective Teacher Training (SETT) OR Effective Teacher Training (ETT). You may complete the online course ( via the App-Garden University. OR; You may take the SETT/ETT course at a NC community college. Upon completion of the SETT/ETT, please upload your certificate of completion to your online application. Please Note: WCPSS will accept App-Garden certificates of completion from other N.C. school systems. Certified Substitute Teaching WCPSS will accept a state issued teaching license (any state, current or expired) in lieu of completing the SETT course. Current Student Teachers In lieu of the SETT/ETT course, you may upload ONE of the following to satisfy the SETT requirement.
