Position Title: Powder Coating Technician

Reporting to: Production Manager

Department: Manufacturing

We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Powder Coating Technician to help support that mission. Due to invisible electromagnetic fields associated with equipment used, any carrier of a pacemaker must avoid this particular work area.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate spray guns and ovens
• Mask parts according to prints
• Monitor parts throughout the baking cycle
• Inspect components after coating for quality
• Package product in an efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure all tools/equipment are returned to assigned place when not in use

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience in powder coating environment is a plus, but not required

Forklift experience preferred

Ability to wear a respirator

Familiarity with engineering drawings preferred

Must be detail oriented

Work Conditions

Physical Demands / Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs and ladders, and working in tight-access areas around equipment. The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. without restriction. This list is not meant to cover every possible scenario but simply provide an outline.
