Contract | Days | Variable start times (0730, 0800, 0900, 1000, or 1100); shift primarily covers 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phase 1 and Phase 2 post-anesthesia recovery care for patients across a 22-bed PACU unit
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from orthopedic, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI procedures
• Operate and manage respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP
• Recover ICU-level patients within the PACU setting as needed
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Fulfill on-call, floating, and holiday requirements as assigned, including one on-call night shift approximately every six weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must reside within 60 miles of the facility; valid driver's license required
• Must be available and present in state during the full week of orientation
• Ability to meet a 1-hour call response time requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Familiarity with PACU and surgical center workflows and protocols
