Bartender

Overview The position of Bartender at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa involves delivering memorable hospitality through engaging service, beverage preparation, and guest interaction. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu Take orders accurately, confirming all special requests Serve as the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance conversation Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation Requisition and stock all beer, wine, and spirits Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest Lock up and store all beverages, food, and other equipment; deposit cash drops and secure bank Qualifications Engaging and welcoming personality Current bartending certification or appropriate license Knowledgeable in the latest trends around mixology Describe and sell the menu effectively 2-4 years of bartending experience Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests Excellent communication skills Benefits Comprehensive health insurance Retirement plan Paid time off On‑site wellness programs Local discounts and employee rates on hotel stays Compensation Salary: $16.90 per hour.
