Job Description

Location: Miami, FL
Compensation: $75k to $130k annually
Full-Time

We’re looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to lead and manage estimating efforts for a growing General Contractor. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple bids while delivering accurate, competitive estimates.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets.
Perform quantity takeoffs and review plans/specifications.
Create ITBs and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
Review subcontractor bids, scopes, and pricing.
Develop bid comparisons, RFIs, clarifications, and cost breakdowns.
Assist with hard bids, value engineering, and scopes of work.
Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines simultaneously.

Requirements

3+ years of construction estimating or construction management experience.
Previous General Contractor experience strongly preferred .
Strong construction plan and specification reading skills.
Experience with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe .
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Bachelor's/Associate degree or equivalent construction experience.
Experience with framing, drywall, finishes, or interiors is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
