As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Bloomfield, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will be part of a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, trailer yards, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and/or deliveries, and report discrepancies, damaged property, or operational issues to the appropriate site representative.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing movement of people, vehicles, and/or shipments, following post orders, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
