CAD Technician

RDR Utility Services Group is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Technician to join our team in the fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our welding operations.Key Responsibilities:Create and draw ISO's from customers drawing package and also hand drawn iso's in auto-cad.Assist with checking in materials as they arrive.Check heat numbers match MTR.Check grade to match what was ordered.Check size and wall thickness to what was ordered.Verify heat numbers for any discrepancies from the iso's to MTR.Record x-ray numbers.Scan and file MTR's, JSA's, X-ray reports, Torque reports and field iso's.Create Hydro-test packages.Requirements:Must be proficient in auto-cad in oil and gas setting.Must be well organized.Knowledge of MTR's, pipe grades and sizes.Excellent computer skills with programs such as MS Office, Blue-Beam and other construction related software.Must have good communication skills and be able to work closely with company provided inspection.Must have a good positive attitude and show up for work every day and on time.
