General Manager

Our client is looking for a Spa General Manager that reflects the full scope of leadership this position carries. You will own every dimension of spa operations — from team development and guest experience to financial performance and brand stewardship. You are the heartbeat of this location, and your energy, standards, and vision will directly shape the culture and success of the spa. In addition, the Spa General Manager will be responsible for the follow: WHAT YOU'LL DO Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain a high-performing, guest-focused team Build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and wellbeing that people are proud to be part of Deliver coaching, regular feedback, and annual performance reviews to all team members Communicate clearly and consistently — sharing company updates, promotions, and expectations so everyone is aligned Recognize and celebrate individual contributions and team wins Manage any team relations concerns professionally, ensuring guest experience is seamless Ensure a qualified leader is on duty during all hours of operation Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience Champion wellness care at every touchpoint — from the first greeting to the final farewell Uphold all spa service standards, treatment protocols, and front office procedures Respond to guest feedback promptly and professionally, turning every concern into a positive guest experience and an opportunity Warmly welcome guests and educate them on services and retail products Drive Business Performance Own service sales, retail sales, and profitability — achieving or exceeding annual goals Analyze performance metrics regularly; identify gaps quickly and act decisively Optimize therapist scheduling to maximize treatment room utilization and productivity Manage weekly payroll accurately, including tip processing, PTO and overtime, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Prepare franchise management control reports and monitor KPIs Achieve gift card sales goals and support seasonal promotions Maintain spa ambiance standards – lighting, music, cleanliness, and aromatherapy Manage inventory purchasing, receiving, organization, and loss prevention Ensure equipment is maintained and properly functioning, facilities are pristine, and laundry is completed daily Perform daily closeout procedures and maintain accurate records in spa management software Prepare for on-site inspections and ensure licensing and compliance requirements are current Protect spa assets through safety, security, and loss prevention protocols Champion the Brand Serve as the local face of the spa — living and modeling its values every day Execute neighborhood marketing and local advertising initiatives Ensure the team understands and enthusiastically promotes events, retail, and gift cards WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years managing a spa, salon, or comparable hospitality/retail business with 15–30 team members 3+ years in a guest-facing leadership role with a track record of exceptional service delivery Strong business acumen — you understand P&L, payroll, scheduling, and inventory Proven track record of profitably growing a spa business Passionate advocate of spa industry and providing excellent guest care and wellbeing A natural coach who builds confident, motivated teams Clear, transparent communicator who leads by example and holds team members accountable Tech-savvy and detail-oriented with experience in spa or retail management software COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Annual performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary, tied to spa annual sales and profitability 4 weeks of paid time off Health insurance Team member service and retail discount SCHEDULE This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.
