TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Vestal, New York, 13850!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care experience required. License: Must have a valid state license. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: Strong attendance and punctuality required. Description: Facility provides long-term care, rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care. Shifts are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week with every other weekend required. Patient ratios are 1 nurse to 18-20 patients in a 300-bed facility. Experience with Alzheimer's and dementia patient populations is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. RTO is only approved at the time of submission and not after an offer is made. Call outs must be given with ample notice, more than 24 hours prior. Compliance requirements take 1.5-2 weeks to complete. Travelers must be dependable with consistent attendance. Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates should be able to administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition is expected. Timely and accurate documentation must be completed. Nursing care must be provided in accordance with facility policies. Supervision of CNAs on assigned units is part of the responsibilities. The facility values teamwork and a positive attitude. Modules must be completed prior to the assignment start date.
