Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, CO, USA Department: Neurosciences FTE: Full Time, 0.9 (72.00 hours per pay period - 2 weeks) Shift: Day and Night Rotation Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification, plus any relevant life support certification as required at the position level. Minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. BLS or CPR card valid through sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity. Apply AMSN’s core curriculum and various specialty certification standards in evidence-based care models for each unit. Collaborate with Clinical Educators to support individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout orientation.
