An exciting travel opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking a contract assignment in a dynamic educational setting. This role involves supporting students at two vibrant school campuses serving elementary and K-8 populations, both conveniently located near the Stuart, FL area. The assignment runs from August 5, 2026, through June 1, 2027, and provides a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

In this role, you’ll make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by providing essential speech and language services. The caseload includes students with Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), offering varied and rewarding daily experiences. Your time will be split between two school sites, White City Elementary and St. Lucie West K-8, where collaboration and adaptability are valued.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
• Prior school-based SLPA experience preferred
• Bilingual abilities considered a strong plus
• Experience working with children with EBD and ASD
• Ability to meet fingerprinting requirements for credentialing
• Must be comfortable splitting duties between different school sites

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Provide support to students in both classroom and pull-out settings
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Communicate effectively with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Adapt interventions to meet individual student needs across diverse age groups
