The Restaurant Line Cook plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality food preparation and timely service within a small kitchen team. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, the Line Cook is responsible for executing menu items to the highest standards while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. This position requires working evening shifts, including weekends, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
• Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and tools
• Maintain quality control to ensure food safety and consistency
• Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards throughout shifts
• Collaborate effectively with a small team of 3-5 cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in restaurant cooking
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in food preparation and kitchen safety practices
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Excellent knife skills and sanitation knowledge
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
