Water Resources Project Manager

A well-established, employee-owned engineering firm in the Southeast is looking for an experienced Water Resources Project Manager/Engineer to lead and grow their practice in Atlanta. You'll take ownership of stormwater master planning, drainage design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (1D/2D), overseeing watershed studies, capital improvement projects, and NPDES permitting efforts from concept through construction documents. There's also real leadership involved here: managing scope, schedule, and budget, mentoring junior staff, and building out a growing team, not just running your own projects in isolation. What we're looking for: PE license required 10+ years in water resources engineering Strong H&H modeling and stormwater management design experience Experience with green infrastructure/LID and erosion & sediment control design Proficiency with AutoCAD, ArcMap, and H&H modeling software Comfortable leading client relationships and proposal/fee negotiations Ready to mentor and lead a team, not just execute individually This is a firm known for how they treat people as much as the work itself: employee-owned, consistently recognized as a Top Workplace, with strong PTO, a condensed Friday schedule, and genuine investment in career development.
