Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist!

Job Description:


- Shift: 10hrs AM - 40hr Days
- Schedule: 4 x 10s, 7a-5:30p, no set day off
- Call Requirements: Evening and weekend call for emergency procedures
- Location: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
- Experience: 2-3 years Cath Lab experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP required
- Skills Required:
- Ability to independently read telemetry strips
- Pass tele exam on day 1 with 85% or better
- Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Certifications Required:
- MA RT(R) License
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- RCIS preferred

Key Responsibilities:


- Perform Cardiac Catheterizations under the direction of the Chief Radiologic Technologist
- Conduct and record hemodynamic monitoring
- Maintain proficiency through continuing education credits
- Assist with the radiologic operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Ensure quality control by utilizing optimum diagnostic imaging
- Conduct simple troubleshooting for equipment and request service as needed
- Complete patient billing forms for Cath Lab procedures
- Perform daily calibration and maintenance of the film processor
- Prepare cardiology patients for invasive procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all hospital-related data
- Abide by all relevant hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrate respect for patients, families, visitors, and colleagues
- Communicate effectively with diverse customers, utilizing interpreters when needed
- Other related duties as assigned
