Service Booker/Cashier

At BMW Pembroke Pines, we are seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Service Booker/Cashier to join our team!

This position plays an important role in supporting daily service operations by accurately coding and booking repair orders, verifying labor and parts charges, processing customer payments, scheduling service appointments, and maintaining accurate dealership records. The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating with multiple departments in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Code and book completed repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Review repair orders to ensure the correct labor times, labor operations, parts charges, and sublet pricing have been applied.
• Verify repair order totals and report necessary corrections to management to help prevent inaccurate or overstated amounts.
• Serve as a liaison between the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Parts Department, and Service Technicians.
• Calculate the total cost of services performed and products purchased by customers.
• Accept and process cash, check, and credit card payments accurately.
• Record payments received, issue receipts, and provide customers with the correct change.
• Handle returns and issue credit memorandums as directed by management.
• Scan and upload closed repair orders into the Dealership Management System (DMS).
• Respond to incoming service calls and route customer inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Schedule, confirm, and update service appointments.
• Contact customers who are due or past due for scheduled maintenance or service.
• Maintain organized and accurate service records.
• Assist with administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous automotive dealership, warranty, cashier experience preferred.
• 2+ years of automotive warranty or related industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems and automotive repair orders is a plus.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $20.00 - $23.40 USD per hour.
