About This Role The Registered Nurse - Ambulatory (OB/GYN) position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting. This role is ideal for nurses who are skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Highlights Location: Bellmore, NY Schedule: Part-time What You'll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across various systems. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic and psychosocial health status. Develop individualized patient outcome statements and goals. Coordinate care activities and document the plan of care. Implement the plan of care and maintain patient safety. Evaluate care effectiveness and document outcomes. Collaborate with care team members on treatment regimens. Administer medications safely and educate patients on drug interactions. Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning. Perform related duties as required. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; must enroll in a BSN program within 2 years and obtain a BSN within 5 years. Experience Experience in nursing preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
