CDL-Ready Utility Mechanic I (Water/Sewer)

City of Virginia Beach seeks candidates for a Conversion position in Public Utilities. This requisition is for attendees of the October 2026 career event. Work involves water and sewer line maintenance and other duties as assigned. Selected candidates must obtain a Class A CDL Instruction Permit within six months and then a full Class A CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements within nine months.
