Registered Nurse Infusion

Join our Infusion team at Intermountain Medical Center and deliver specialized, patient‑centered care in an outpatient oncology setting. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care by assessing patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and partner with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team throughout treatment. Use advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care, including patient education and symptom management, and prepare patients for ongoing support beyond the infusion setting. Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary partners to coordinate complex treatment plans, prioritize care, and ensure safe, timely infusion services. Evaluate patient outcomes, adapt care plans as needs evolve, and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and quality outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment start. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four (4) years of hire. Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, verified by the employer. Experience in oncology or infusion settings. Physical Requirements Ability to see, read, and interpret information, labels, and patient needs; use monitors and equipment. Verbal communication and hearing of spoken information, alarms, and patient needs, especially during emergencies. Manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment, frequent computer use, typing, medication preparation, and documentation. Capacity to lift, transfer, bend, and carry supplies and equipment up to heavy weights; push or pull gurneys and portable equipment. Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate crowded rooms with equipment and power cords. For roles requiring driving, ability to sit, see, read signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles. Schedule & Work Hours Flexible 10‑hour shifts from 8:00AM to 6:30PM, with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Compensation $35.22 to $53.29 per hour, based on experience.
