Registered Nurse - Nursing - 2Nd Shift, Full-Time/Part-Time

Position Details Registered Nurse (RN) – Part‑time, 8‑hour Evening Shift. Union position. Eligible for a $12,000 bonus. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents and family, and other inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and uses appropriate age‑and population‑specific standards. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment. Coordinates care, conducts resident assessments, provides resident education and performs various nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their competence level, ensuring safe administration of resident care and resolving care and service concerns. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Completed a pre‑licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan, or has a minimum of 400 hours of RN (or LPN) experience at another facility. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the applicable state(s). Nurses practicing over the telephone require licensure in the states where patients reside. Demonstrated ability to function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state.
