1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: Fairport, NY

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for machine setup and teardown, material handling, inventory support, quality inspections, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production or manufacturing setting and be comfortable following detailed procedures and work instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down production machines and workstations according to established procedures.
• Move, stage, and organize materials, parts, and supplies to ensure continuous production flow.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas while adhering to cleanroom standards and protocols.
• Enter and maintain accurate production data, including work orders, inventory transactions, and production status updates.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and shipping/receiving transfers.
• Conduct basic visual inspections to identify defects, contamination, or quality concerns.
• Support onboarding and training of new employees on production tasks, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, safety glasses, cleanroom garments, gloves, and masks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Experience supporting machine setup, changeovers, or teardown activities.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and checklists.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous cleanroom experience.
• Experience with inventory management and cycle counting.
• Sandblasting experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work safely while wearing required PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds as needed.
