Bartender

Gracie’s is seeking hospitality-driven servers who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality, strong product knowledge, teamwork, and attention to detail.

The Bartender plays an important role in shaping each guest's experience from arrival to departure. We are looking for individuals who are warm, dependable, team-oriented, and excited to contribute to a positive and welcoming culture. This person provides a memorable dining experience at Gracie’s bar and supports the team by preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for Dining Room service. The ideal candidate enjoys food and beverage, and can prepare and execute cocktail recipes to specification while upholding Gracie’s high standards of service.

Hiring Requirements

Hospitality Experience

• Previous restaurant and bar experience (2 years minimum)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Guest Experience

• Enjoys connecting with guests and creating welcoming experiences
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods
• Confidently suggesting food, beverage, and seasonal offerings

Organization & Reliability

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow systems, procedures, and service standards consistently

Teamwork & Communication

• Works collaboratively with teammates and leadership
• Communicates professionally with guests and teammates

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest 
• Maintain a safe environment working and dining environment by identifying guests who have over-indulged and alerting the FOH leader
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and uphold Gracie’s Venture cleanliness standards, and RI Health Codes
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of both culinary and beverage menus
• Keep up to date with TIPS Certification
