Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting Community property. Full Time with some weekends. Starting at $18 per hour based on experience. Benefits:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Perform general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.- Perform painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
- Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
- Assist, during winter, with snow removal efforts as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of fountains, pumping and filtration system, where
- Perform maintenance on irrigation system (valves, timers and nozzles).
- Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
- Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent in training, education and experience
- Minimum one year experience in building maintenance
- One year or more experience in apartment and/or healthcare community
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
- Must have thorough understanding of all building systems and their
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
