Product Manager

Compensation for this role is $120,000-$140,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. At RXO, we're looking for a Product Manager to support the evolution of Connect Premium Plus, our two-sided digital marketplace connecting shippers and carriers. In this role, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver features that enhance the experience and drive value for both sides of the marketplace. Work Location & Schedule: This position can be based in either Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC and follows a hybrid schedule, working onsite Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays . What your day-to-day will look like: Own and manage the feature backlog and roadmap for Connect Premium Plus in partnership with the Product Lead Gather input from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories Partner with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from discovery and planning through development, testing, and release Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and measure product performance and feature adoption Balance the needs of both shippers and carriers when prioritizing product enhancements and new functionality Communicate product priorities, progress, tradeoffs, and decisions to stakeholders across the organization Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand user pain points and continuously improve the customer experience Support product launches by ensuring requirements are clearly documented and business objectives are met What you'll need to excel: At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience 3+ years of product management experience Experience managing products through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Hands-on experience with Agile product management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps Experience using SQL to analyze data and support product decisions Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions Experience supporting or building two-sided marketplace products It'd be great if you also have: Experience with Confluence or similar documentation and collaboration tools Background in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, or supply chain technology Experience working closely with a senior product leader within a shared product portfolio Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions Experience balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Passion for building products that improve customer experience and drive business outcomes Why Join Us: Our Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off includes: up to 8 holidays, up to 2 floating Diversity Days, Hourly: Earn up to 13 days PTO/ Salary: Earn up to 15 days PTO, up to 40 hours bereavement leave, up to 16 hours volunteer time, jury duty, at least 2 weeks family bonding leave, up to 40 hours prenatal care leave 401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company match Insurance: health, prescription, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life, short and long-term disability, accidental death and personal loss, business travel, legal services, ID theft, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance Tax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account, Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Spending Account Health Reimbursement Arrangement Our Culture Our values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.
