Perform hands-on carpentry work in framing, drywall, finish trim work, and more. Occasionally oversee the work of subcontractors. Deliver a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in performing reconstruction services.ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality work in all job duties, including but not limited to: general carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, mud/tape/paint, flooring, limited demolition, structure board up and tarpingAssist with scheduling of all subcontractors and material suppliers as neededEnsure all work performed complies with local codes and requirements of the scope of workDocument all project activities through photographs, job notes, and communication with managementMaintain quality standards throughout the work processAttend inspections with local jurisdiction, as neededIdentify unexpected job issues outside of the contracted scope of work and communicate with managementCoordinate and complete all work for the project as assigned by the Project ManagerMaintain vehicles, tools, and facilities in clean and orderly mannerEnsure stock replenishment or emergency services supplies and materialsPerform rotational after-hours/weekend/holiday on-call duties for emergency services as requiredQualificationsSuperb customer service track recordEffective written and oral communicationAccurate mathematical skills3 years' experience in restoration and/or construction carpentry requiredHigh school diploma/GEDValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPhysical and Work Environment RequirementsExposure to extreme conditions such as heatWalking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, lifting, bending, stooping, carrying up to 50 pounds alone or up to 100 pounds team liftAbility to climb ladders and work at ceiling heightsNormal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel RequirementsThis is a full-time hourly position. Normal schedule is 8.5-hour shifts Monday - Friday between 7:30 am - 4:15 pm. Due to the emergency response nature of the business, this position may frequently require evening work, rotational on-call requirements, weekend work, and long hours beyond the normal schedule. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. All employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise. SERVPRO® Franchise employees are not employed by, jointly employed by, agents of, or under the supervision or control of SERVPRO Industries, Inc., the Franchisor, in any manner whatsoever. Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
