Lead Embedded Software Engineer

What They're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of embedded engineering experience and be comfortable jumping in immediately and leading from day one.
Key technical experience includes:
- Embedded systems development at the design/coding level
- Embedded C or C++
- C# and/or Python are a plus
- Assembly programming is a nice-to-have
- Bare-metal embedded development
- Printed circuit board / hardware experience
- Microcontrollers, particularly PIC
- ARM experience is highly desirable as they are migrating toward ARM
- RTOS (real-time operating systems) experience is important
- Linux experience is a plus
- SPI
- USB
- Test equipment
- Hardware/software integration
- Git/Git system experience
- Bug tracking
- Project scheduling
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Scrum Master experience would be an additional plus
They're looking for someone who can step in and lead immediately, while remaining hands-on technically.
Experience with the following would be valuable:
- Leading engineering projects or teams
- Driving projects from concept through development
- Influencing cross-functional teams
- Creating and managing project schedules
- Agile development environments
- Establishing or improving development processes
- Git/version-control systems
- Bug tracking systems
- Building team capabilities
