Medical Information Specialist (In-Person) Location: Baltimore, MD Employment Type: Full Time | 100% On Site Schedule: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pivotal Health is looking for a detail oriented and driven Missing Information Specialist to join our growing healthcare operations team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced healthcare environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in ensuring patient records and insurance information are accurate and complete. What You Will Do Contact providers by phone and fax to obtain missing medical records, diagnosis codes, and required documentation Review and analyze medical records for completeness and accuracy Verify and obtain insurance information from providers and patients Understand and work with diagnosis codes and contraindications Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on outstanding items Communicate professionally with providers, patients, and internal teams Support operational efficiency by ensuring records are processed in a timely manner What We Are Looking For Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field Understanding of medical terminology and medical records Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player High school diploma or equivalent required Why Join Pivotal Health Stable Monday through Friday schedule Competitive pay Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding healthcare organization Collaborative and supportive team environment Make a direct impact on patient care and healthcare operations Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to use his/her hands to operate office equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
