Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions in their homes, carefully assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Establish individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques such as targeted exercises, manual therapy, or the use of assistive technologies to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Implement and monitor treatment interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal progress toward therapeutic goals.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient treatments, responses, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Regularly reassess patient progress, redefine goals, and develop new treatment plans to align with evolving patient needs.
• Advise and fit patients with necessary assistive devices, facilitating their independence in self-care and mobility.
• Train patients, caregivers, and other healthcare team members on the appropriate use of therapeutic modalities and techniques to enhance the overall management of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and active participation in professional associations to maintain best practices and licensure.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is essential.

Preferred Experience
