PowerBI and Automation Analyst

Kearney is seeking a Power BI and Automation Analyst to support contingency and readiness efforts by developing data-driven dashboards, building workflow automations, and streamlining operational processes using Microsoft technologies. This role enhances mission synchronization by enabling real-time insights, improving information flow, and supporting the execution of complex readiness activities. Responsibilities Designing and developing Power BI dashboards to support operational, financial, and readiness reporting Building workflow automations using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Teams Creating digital tools to manage timelines, injects, communications records, and other mission‑critical workflows Enhancing existing manual processes through automation, data integration, and dashboard‑driven insights Supporting teams during readiness and contingency events by preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting digital tools Coordinating across planning, evaluation, and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and system integration Supporting After Action Review processes with dashboards, analytics, and automated reporting Ensuring information flow, operational visibility, and data synchronization across all phases of mission execution Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Minimum 4 years of experience in operational, analytical, or exercise environments Experience designing or implementing workflow automations using Microsoft tools Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) Experience building SharePoint sites, lists, or workflow solutions Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship) Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting or organizing complex events or operations Ability to adapt quickly in fast‑paced, exercise‑driven environments Salary and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $140,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
