The Residence Inn/ SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Downtown Greenville is seeking a dedicated Food Runner / Busser / Host. The purpose of this position is to greet guests with warm hospitality and ensure smooth operation in the restaurant / bar area. Also, assist food servers as requested and clear and clean the tables in the restaurant to ensure a positive guest dining experience.

Essential job functions include displaying a friendly attitude while greeting and seating guests, keeping the reception area clean and neat, being familiar with the menu and daily specials, including basic knowledge of food and ingredients, knowing locations of all food outlets and services, assisting guests in finding rooms, conference rooms, and banquets when necessary, working in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment, performing duties under pressure and meeting deadlines in a timely manner, working well as part of a team and independently, removing dirty dishes from guest tables using proper cleaning method; resetting tables, ensuring all tables are set correctly according to Auro Hotels and Brand Standard, reporting all incidents, compliments, complaints to manager, and helping in the restaurant, outlet, and/or kitchen when extra duties are assigned.

Qualifications include flexibility and reliability. Experience/Education includes a high school diploma preferred and experience with customer service.
