Lead Product Designer - Consumer Experience

Rocket Companies is seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the consumer experience, driving zero-to-one innovation across both desktop and mobile. This onsite role in Washington, DC offers a yearly salary between USD 180,700 and 244,500 and requires a minimum of eight years in product design. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and leadership to apply data-driven experimentation and strong craft to enhance profitability while elevating the user experience. Responsibilities Design Redfin's core consumer product across desktop and mobile. Balance visionary product thinking with experimentation, ensuring projects-from quick tests to major innovations-raise the standard for a world-class platform. Create an engaging, cohesive user experience with careful attention to every step of the user journey. Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define and design features that meet both user and business needs. Present design concepts through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, and defend your work to cross-functional teams and leadership. Use quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform decisions and continuously iterate on product improvements. Advocate for the user, ensuring their voice guides the design process. Contribute to and evolve the design system to maintain a consistent and scalable experience across Redfin products. Requirements Passionate about Redfin's mission to make real estate better for everyone. 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a portfolio showcasing shipped, impactful products. Excellent communicator who can clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences. A collaborator at heart, thriving in a team environment and solving complex problems with others. Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of aesthetics, consistency, and user-centered design principles.
