Job Description:

Position: RN – Surgical IMC / Stepdown

Location: Baltimore, MD 21287

Setting: Adult inpatient acute + telemetry stepdown

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Orientation dates: 2nd and 4th Monday each month
• Direct communication with unit leadership
• Unit: Zayed 11 West (Surgical/Urology/Thoracic)

Travel Pay Package:

Total weekly: $2,674 per week

Housing stipend: $1,050

Meals stipend: $602

Overview:

• Care for adult surgical patients pre‑ and post‑operatively
• Manage telemetry patients requiring continuous vital sign monitoring
• Provide bedside care for thoracic, urology, and surgical stepdown populations
• Ideal for nurses with strong dysrhythmia management and acute care experience

Additional Details:

• Charting: EPIC preferred
• Timekeeping: Magnit
• Feedback time: 48 hours to 7 business days
• Start dates must be submitted 3+ weeks out
• MSP/VMS: B4 Health

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
• Dysrhythmia management required
• BLS required
• EPIC experience preferred
• 1–2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• Updated resume
• Nursys verification
• Relias skills checklist
• 1–2 supervisor/manager references
• All active certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/etc.)
