Job Description The School of Professional Studies Education Department at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio invites applications from qualified individuals to teach graduate counseling courses. Course Areas School Counseling Mental Health Counseling Addictions Counseling Research Family Therapy Requirements Earned Doctorate degree in Counselor Education (CACREP accredited program graduates desired) or a related field. Thorough knowledge and understanding of current best practices in School Counseling, Community Counseling, and Mental Health Counseling. Qualifications Background in counseling or previous teaching at the university level preferred. Willingness to teach courses in a variety of formats including traditional, weekend, and online. Student‑centered teaching approach. Outstanding presentation and teaching skills. Proficiency with instructional technology and modeling best teaching practices.
